WHEN DID THE MILLBROOK LODGE OPEN?

The Millbrook Lodge has been owned and managed by the Maguire family since 1980. The Maguire family have continued to invest in the hotel, with a large scale refurbishment completed between 2014-2018. Gerty McCaugherty (nee Maguire) is the General Manager of the Millbrook Lodge and works tirelessly with the team to provide exceptional service, offering great accommodation, food and drink for all our guests.

 

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT?

For our hotel bedrooms, check-in is available from 3 pm, rooms should be vacated by 11 am. 

Our reception desk is staffed 24 hours per day so even if you arrive late at night or need to depart very early in the morning, the team at Millbrook Lodge will be available to take care of you.

 

IS THE HOTEL WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY?

The public areas of our hotel are fully accessible for guests who are wheelchair users or who have limited mobility. We have level access into the main entrance and lift access throughout. We have one accessible bedroom which is specially adapted to feature grab rails for ease of access.

 

ARE TRAVEL COTS AVAILABLE FOR INFANTS?

We have a number of travel cots available which are suitable for children under the age of 3. We advise that all guests make us aware of their requirements at the time of booking as we cannot guarantee availability on arrival.

 

DO YOU HAVE TRAVEL ADAPTORS AND OTHER GUEST SUPPLIES ON-SITE?

Our Reception will be happy to help with sourcing items you may need during your stay such as adaptors, transformers and bathroom supplies.

 

DO I NEED TO PRE-BOOK DINNER AND AFTERNOON TEA?

Our in house restaurant and afternoon tea services are very popular both with our hotel residents and local visitors therefore pre-booking is advised to guarantee that we can accommodate you at your preferred dining time.
